Fruit Zombie Survival Diamonds: Uses, Sources, and Currency Rules

What Diamonds do in Fruit Zombie Survival: verified uses, where they come from, how they differ from Berries, and what is still unconfirmed about codes and balance persistence.

Diamonds are the long-term currency in Fruit Zombie Survival. They sit next to Berries, and new players often spend the wrong one: Berries power the live wave, while Diamonds feed the fruit shop and the "Richer than rich" badge (hold 100,000 Diamonds at once). Diamonds matter most once you care about the Collect 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 fruits collection. The in-game label is "Diamonds," and run summaries display Diamonds earned — for example, a clean Corrida Colosseum boss run reads 320 diamonds earned on the Run Over screen.

Verified uses

  • Fruit shop unlocks — buy Devil Fruits from the shop. Twenty fruits sit in the shop across rarity bands, and you can spend Diamonds on them or wait for drops.
  • Collection progression — Diamonds fill holes in the Collect 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 fruit badges; if a fruit fills a hole in your collection, buying it with Diamonds is the intended move.
  • Account badge — the "Richer than rich" badge requires holding 100,000 Diamonds at once.
  • Hidden pickups (related) — hidden map Diamonds are a source, and a badge named "Collect all hidden diamonds" exists.

Where Diamonds come from

  • Boss/wave clears: payouts are tied to reaching and clearing the Wave 10 boss (Dune Marauder) on Corrida Colosseum — a documented run pays a fixed 320 Diamonds in about one minute, with a sustained rate of roughly 19,000 per hour.
  • Hidden Diamonds on the map: pickups exist on the maps (Dressrosa is named; Baratie unlocks as a second layout).
  • Robux paths: a 2x Diamonds gamepass sells for 499 Robux — it only doubles pickups you already earn and does not spawn Diamonds. A separate Robux rarity skip instantly unlocks the Uncommon / Rare / Legendary / Mythical devil fruit you are looking at in the shop — no Diamonds needed.

What does not give Diamonds: Berries (a different wallet), kill count (kill badges are separate), fake codes from other fruit games, and group join (no documented reward).

Codes and unverified rewards

No public promo codes are listed as of September 2026, so no code-based Diamond reward has been confirmed by redemption. The community wiki notes there are no codes today but advises keeping the habit of saving rather than spending your last pile in case a code lands. Group-join rewards are not documented either. Treat any reported code reward as unconfirmed until a redemption result is actually verified in-game.

Balance and persistence

Diamonds are an account-level (between-run) resource, distinct from the in-run Berries wallet. They are spent between fruits and on the account, and the Run Over summary shows earned amounts that bank when a run ends — the balance locks in after the boss kill. The 100,000-held badge implies Diamonds accumulate and persist on the account rather than resetting per run. That said, no explicit cross-session persistence test has been published, so do not assume permanence purely by analogy with Berries, whose lifecycle is in-run only — check your balance after logging back in.

If you want to build the balance quickly, the dedicated farming guide covers the boss-reset loop and route timing; this page is the reference for what the currency does and where it fits against Berries.
